Mr. Albright is a native of Guilford County, North Carolina. He grew up in a farm atmosphere outside Greensboro.  After graduating from Northeast Guilford High School in McLeansville, he attended the University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Biology in 1978. 

Thereafter he attended law school at North Carolina Central University's School of Law where earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence (Juris Doctor or J.D.) degree in 1986.  He is also certified as a District Court Arbitrator by the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts.
